Flameless ration heater for wet pouches - one time use

A chemical heater used to heat our soft tins. You heat the canned meat unopened and open it only when the food is ready! Very cold water or cold weather can delay the chemical reaction. To remedy this, lukewarm water is used to advantage. You can also, after adding water, stop the heat bag inside the jacket to heat the water with body heat to speed up the process. When the heater has started, insulate from ground cooling and wind for best results.

Contents: Aluminum (stabilized) and Sodium hydroxide.
